~*~*~*~* Good Questions For Great Living ~*~*~*~*

I suggest that you pause long enough to think through the
following questions. Should you be a person who journals,
you may want to record several of your responses.

1. Am I resting for all the right reasons or hardly resting
for many of the wrong ones?

2. In my review of the quotations I just read, what do I
hear my heart saying? Am I blocking anything that *should*
be heard?

3. Reviewing my world at this time, who comes to mind when I
think of someone I should influence by using the power of
encouragement.

4. Should any of the quotes be placed in my day planner for
further reflection?

5. Am I becoming all I can be at this time in my life or
allowing who I could become to be smothered in a sea of all
the things I think I need to do instead of those I really
should be doing?

6. Do I need to reflect on what “purpose” means for me at
this stage in my life?

7. Could I — or should I — be more purpose directed than I
have been in recent days? If I thought about why that might
be so, does that tell me anything I need to know at the
moment?

8. What type of legacy do I desire to leave? Why?

On Maintaing Hope in Business and the Business of Life

On Regaining Hope!

A bit on the unusual side for me on a post, I just sat down, began to write, and this is what came out in the process.  Enjoy!

On Maintaining Hope In Business and in the Business Of Life

You,

Your team,

Or those around you will struggle with maintaing hope at times.

Most of us do in my opinion.

While there may exist many formulas for regaining hope, my thoughts today centered around not so much of a formula but rather a simple observation.

On Maintaining Hope…

Hope is maintained by an ongoing process

of realigning thoughts and actions with faith based intentions.

©Lee Wise

I take stock of who I am on the inside.

And if hope is lacking for whatever the reason, I ask a simple question:

“What is truth here?”

And then: “Will truth reign?”

I may be down, disappointed and not at all ready to move forward.  But in seeing what I could do based on where I believe it is important for me to be in the next steps of my journey, I…

  • Realign my thoughts with where I want to head.
  • Establish the validity of the goal.
  • Assess what I can do as opposed to being overwhelmed with what I feel I can’t do.
  • And I decide to take some action that truly assists me in the process.

That action could be actually doing something or deciding to not do anything because I am proverbially speaking, “Shot.”

But I do it.  And somewhere in the process a measure of hope returns or is maintained to some degree.

Maybe nothing fancy, life changing or what some might call dramatic…

But just enough to keep me moving forward.

An Inspirational Quote On Encouragement

Speaking Of Encouragement

Thinking about a variety of issues today, I thought about the topic of encouragement and wrote the quote talked about in the video below.

Family.  Business.  Home.  Friendship.  Attraction Marketing.  You name it: when it comes to our ongoing need to give and receive encouragement, there can be no doubt.

Enjoy the video.  It is under two minutes!

  • Nothing new, strange or different: but in listening to the video, did any ideas come to mind?  Ideas to share, develop or hold on to for later?
  • What about “Who?”  Did any name, organization for effort cross your mind that could quite possibly be paid attention to?
  • Should you happen to be leading a team of any sort, are they in need of encouragement that you could give or bring in some how?
  • Anything else?  And you know what the “anything else” might be.

And Your Response Is?

An “It Matters” Quote by Lee Wise… On Family

An “It Matters” Quote by Lee Wise… On Family

I trust the following very brief quote… what I am entitling an “It Matters” Quote by Lee Wise will prove to be a very simple, but meaningful, thought for you or someone you may be seeking to influence.

As you know, I believe making a solid stand for the family is absolutely vital for anyone — and especially of those who feel a need or drive to succeed in anything that can take much of their time: as in internet marketing for instance.

A Brief Comment Or Two…

Just in case you may be wondering, when I say “more than business” I am decidedly not saying completely and totally at the exclusion of the business efforts.

I am not encouraging reckless abandonment of what may mean the security of the family or failing to acknowledge that anything we do goes through various ups and downs in relationship to the demands placed on us in terms of our time.

However, what I am saying is that in the end maintaing positive family relationships should take precedence over being a success at business: to fail at home is something we must strive towards not doing.

With Those Brief Comments In Mind…

  • How might you use this thought personally?
  • Could you share this brief comment on it and then expand on it in somewhere?
  • If you were to list the top ways you have made an effort to give your family “their due” so-to-speak, what would they be?

Attraction Marketing Excellence Life Quote: Credibility

Attraction Marketing Excellence Life Quote: Credibility

Both in business and in the business of life, few the importance of establishing and maintaining a solid sense of credibility can hardly be overstated.  If we are going to work toward the goal of being a success — and being a success on purpose — our credibility base simply must be kept solidly in place in the minds and hearts of those we seek to influence.

Allow my simple working definitions of credibility that I share with you below to be two simple, but all important, reminders to keep moving in the right “credibility direction.”

Get the Flash Player to see this player.

Taking It All In…

We establish and maintain our credibility because of our hearts and what they “say” to others, or practices and how people view what we do, and the words we speak (and often how we speak them).

  • How are you seeking to establish credibility with those you influence?
  • If someone being trained by you asked for you to share with them how to gain initial feelings of credibility in business or personal setting, what would you tell them?  (And… if you are training people: have told them?)
  • If you had to name one person that gained instant credibility with you this past week — no matter how small that credibility was — what made that happen for you?  Could you learn from your observation and reproduce it somewhere in life or business?

And As Usual…

Love to hear from you!  Share reactions below if you would like.

Attraction Marketing Excellence Quote: On Winning With Grace

Whether we find ourselves training the team in our business, relating to our families, or continuing our personal development quest for success, we realize the necessity to win and lose in the proper fashion. We must win and lose with character.

The brief quote below should prove to be a positive motivational thought for you relative to what I mentioned above.

Several Take Aways (Comment if you like!)

  • If you had to record and pass on the three most important aspects of winning to a team of people you were training, what would say to them?

Quotes For Business and the Business of Life: On Being The Best

Being The Best For Me!

On Being The Best…

© Lee Wise  All rights reserved

I may not be the best in all things,
but I can strive to be the best in all things possible for me.
And we call that… personal victory!

As I see it, one of the most central aspects of succeeding in business and “the business of life,” is a proper perspective about being the best I can be…

Yet being that way without driving myself nuts in various attempts to be perfect.

After all, being the best I can be does not always mean being the best I possibly can when…

All is well,

Not well,

And everything in between.

What’s That Got To Do With Attraction Marketing Excellence?

Simple answer, but many times difficult to apply.

I see it as…

Allowing myself to function less than I could perform in various areas of my personal and business life without adding the unnecessary pressure “to do it all well all the time.”

Taking It With You…

Do you notice any areas where you need to cut it back so you can cut it well in all the various roles of your business or personal life?

If so, where might those changes be made?

That’s It!

All the best to you and those you love,

Lee

P.S.  Should you read this and say, “I’ve got that nailed pretty well.” Celebrate!!

Affiliate Notations: I am affiliate of many, if not most, of the links and products that I suggest, recommend, or refer to on this site. For example, when I refer to the resources Renegade University and Renegade Professional, I am an affiliate of the organization that supplies those resources for the benefit of so many people. Also, if you see a banner on my site you can almost count on me be an affiliate of that service or product. By way of an example, the banner for the QuanSite that I use and very highly recommend: I am a very happy affiliate. Here's a "safe" way to look at it: just consider links affiliate related. Of course, many are not, but just view it that way for disclosure's sake. It’s really the best of both worlds: I enjoy being free enough to not only recommend a product or service that others may benefit from but also to have the potential of earning funds from the same resource. Cool.
