Success 102 – The Negative Power Of Self-Affirmation

Success Attraction Marketing Life Balance

Success 102

The Negative Power Of Self-Affirmation

Returning from a recreational outing, business event, church gathering or even a volunteer effort to accomplish some common good, the person beside you says…

“That ______.  Good night, he (or she) has got to be on of the most self-centered, arrogant persons I’ve ever met.  Yeah, he has done a lot but he also has a long way to go in his life.  I wouldn’t want to be like him: ever.”

Consider the brief quote below to be one of the many, many  ”versions” of business or personal success out there in the information world:

But one version definitely worth thinking about in terms of our personal growth and development.

Here ya go:

Success 102

Success Is…

Being self-centered enough

to “make it happen”

and wise enough to avoid

being overcome with myself

in the process!

Being “properly proud” in my estimation is not only appropriate, but needed.  We need to affirm and utilize our strengths for the purpose of making the impact in the world we desire and contributing to the same world in which we live.

However…

Self destructive pride can be a “killer” — and not in the good way.  In my personal opinion it can…

  • Destroy relationships.
  • Create unhealthy environments for people to work in.
  • Represent a non-healthy view of one’s self if not based on a measure of truth. In other words, it can carry with it a measure of self-deception.
  • Etc.

And you be the “etc.” above by completing your own mental list of the negative results of pride unchecked and/or pride undeserved demonstrated in the lives of individuals.

The point: it can be harmful and we simply need to avoid the negative consequences of indulging in the wrong type of pride.

And On The More Positive Side…

Someone would be hard pressed by the reading of my posts to come to any false conclusions regarding our need to affirm ourselves or others. In fact, I would refer you to these two posts as an example of how I feel:

  • Taking Control Of Our Minds (click here).
  • The Power Of Affirmation In Business And Life (click here)

With those positive thoughts in the background, you could ask:

  • How have I laid aside the deceptive nature of false pride in my life?
  • If I had to share three points with someone on how to become successful at life or business and yet keep pride in check, what would I tell them?
  • What dangers have I seen to avoid in this area of thinking?

A Special Thanks For Reading My Post

You probably realize that I have created an ebook — basically, a self-development ebook — for folks on the business side of life so-to-speak. It’s called Stay Motivated! An Inspirational Handbook For Attraction Marketers.  You can click that for more information.

At any rate, if in glancing around you like what you are seeing in terms of my writing, I would like to make you a special offer.  Should you visit the link and decide you may like the book, as a bonus for reading this post, I would like to offer you a 50% Discount off the price of my book. How long will this be offered?  Honestly I am not sure, lol!  For sure for another 10 days.  Beyond that, no guarantees.

Is there a “catch” in this?  Nope, just an offer.  I am highly biased and feel that many people could benefit from the contents of the book and I want to “get the word out” as they say.  Well, one catch I guess: just don’t send out the email and address for people who have not read my post!  Get them here first!!

Just send me an email here:  writeleewise(at)gmail(dot)com.  No, this is not an autoresponder and it does not put you on a list! In the subject line put: “Give me the discount!”  I will then return some instructions and a code to you for your use to receive the discount.

2 Reasons Why Blogs Are Good For Business and Self Growth

Blogging For Prospects Attraction Marketing Work At Home

2 Reasons Why Blogs Are Good
For Business And Self Growth

Blogs Can Be Very Valuable
  • Valuable for building relationships with those people who share your values, goals and perspectives on life and business.
  • Valuable for continuing your own self development program: such as in the area of writing for instance.
  • Valuable for building the art of communication between you, your potential customers, and people who look to you for resources you recommend.
One Good Way Is…

Making quality comments on blogs.  For an example of this, see my post where I shared the quality comments of people who have made comments on my blog.  Excellent examples of how commenting is done.

Try to choose blogs that…
  • You relate to personally.
  • You relate to from a business perspective.
  • That complement your niche.
  • And that you feel you can contribute to in one form or another.
And don’t forget: try to get back to those you feel most comfortable with and post when appropriate.  In other words, consistency can help!

If you are still curious about how this can boost your business, check out these two big reasons why blogging boosts business.

Reason Number One: Name Recognition

The best way to get exposure for yourself and or business is repeated exposures to your targeted marketing group.

Think of it this way: repeated exposures + targeted efforts = more possibility of quality name recognition.
  • Naturally, give value.
  • Not naturally: don’t kill the comment with a “sell.”
  • Spend time commenting: I’ve heard anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour a day.
Reason Number Two: Building Relationships

Think about what you like from a business perspective: (1) people who share the same interest; and (2) those whose writing or products complement your personal and/or business efforts.

Who knows? Maybe you could swap ads, share guest posts, repurpose a post to make it into an article that could be shared on another’s list (or visa versa), etc.

The point is: relationships count and in my mind they count a lot.

In The End…

In the end, blogging can be good for a variety of reasons:
  • It is free.
  • It can reach a targeted group of people.
  • It can be a name recognition builder.
  • It can be a trust builder.
  • It can help in your own personal growth and development.
  • It can be the first step in working with others.
Anything Else?

You might have a few things to add — so go ahead!

Simple Thoughts On Being A Dad

Parenting Fathering Online Marketing Work At Home

Simple Thoughts On Being A Dad

While this post will not qualify as being the longest creation on the subject of being a dad, I believe it holds weight in the category of being important.

In actuality it came about as a result of my taking a look at a variety of the movies I was checking out from what I could call “the back office” of Simple Truths (yes, I am an affiliate in case you are wondering).  At any rate, I played the brief “movie” you will see below my quote, and it certainly grabbed my attention.  For me, it could be termed a “gripping” presentation.

So…

I decided to post it here.  The quote I created several years ago.  I believe it was around 2003 in fact.  Yes, I still feel the same. It is an incredible privilege and responsibility being a father as you can see from several of my other posts.  In fact, if you are in business of any sort and happen to be a dad, I would encourage you to click here to read my longer post on the subject of building your home while building your business.

Being A Dad
© Lee Wise

Knowing…

The pleasure and the pain
The good and the not-so-good

The glad times and the sad times
And everything else in between

Only to find yourself saying the
same thing again and again over
the years:

“I love being a dad.”
“I really do… love being a dad.”

If You Are A Dad, I Would Say… Definitely Watch This Movie!

“Bringing It Home” As They Say…

Reflecting on the brief presentation… powerful wouldn’t you say?  And with that in mind, we could ask or comment…

  • How am I doing as a dad on the “time scale” of life with my family: should be, could be better or hardly ever?
  • Realizing that I need to spend a great deal of time on other things, am making sure that I am sharing quality moments — moments where I am being careful to encourage, uplift, carefully listen, use what I would call “the ministry of touch,” and otherwise let the family know of my deep love and concern for them?

Questions For Excellence – Creating Safe Environment Skills

Life Coaching Asking Questions Attraction Marketing

Questions For Excellence…

Our “Creating Safe

Environments” Skills

Excellence For Business.

Excellence For Life.

This is fourth in a series based on my responses from Kendall Sylva’s excellent article on The Coaching Mindset.  Following my read of that article, I summarized a list for me to grow as a person and as a life coach, and posted those questions next to my desk for review, inspiration and my own self growth and development.

As I have mentioned in this series, I feel these questions may help whether you are:

My Question For You Today…

“How Can I Practice

Creating Safe Environments

For People?”

We often need places of physical, spiritual and emotional refuge in our lives.  Maybe several of your own stops at such places will come to mind as you read this quote:
Safe Places
Places of refuge
we seek, welcome
and at at times run to
for acceptance, affirmation and
encouragement during the journeys of our lives.
© Lee Wise
Safe environments can help to heal hearts, give hope to the hurting, encourage the timid and inspire the victorious. Active listening, questioning while the heart is in tune to the needs of another person, “broadcasting” relational messages of acceptance or affirmation, and a variety of other signals we send can offer precious moments of being in a “safe place” for others.
  • Places that care.
  • Places where the agenda includes us instead of excludes us.
  • Places where the power of relationship means more than the urgency of an agenda.
  • Places of hope instead of demands.

We need such places. Think about it:

  • Suppose you took a day — just one day — to think about being or becoming a safe place for those who step into your world. For you, what would have to take place on the inside for that “space” to be created?
  • How might that “safe place” look or feel like should someone call you or even stop in just to say “Hi!”
  • What have “safe places” meant to you in your life? Who gave them to you?  Were they all major times or did the meaningful one include the so termed “minor” times as well?  Chances meetings at a coffee shop, park or while out jogging.  A sudden sincere question “from out of the blue” that caught you right where you needed to be “caught.”  A glance or look that for some reason or another you knew — you knew — you were in the presence of a sincere invitation to “stop on over” and engage in a level of meaningful dialogue.

Your Turn!

  • Take an emotional road trip while reflecting on the thoughts made in the previous bullet points.
  • Now that you are traveling on that road trip, what would you add?  How would you say things in your way relative to the subject of what it means to experience the beauty of being in a safe place with another human being?
  • If you had to give three tips on creating safe places for others, what would they be?  Just three?
  • Are you an attraction marketer, team leader in a network marketing organization, a parent, friend, spouse or life partner that — by chance — may be reading this post and you find yourself realizing that you need to get down to business when it comes to creating a safe place for those you care for?

A Brief Quote To Consider

On Loving People…

Caring for others is an ongoing process
of creating safe environments for people
to enjoy in one form or another
while in your presence.

Questions For Excellence – Our Active Listening Skills

Attraction Marketing Life Coach Listening

Questions For Excellence…

Our Active Listening Skills

Excellence For Business.

Excellence For Life.

If you have been following this brief series, you know that these questions came about following my read of Kendall Sylva’s excellent article on The Coaching Mindset.  The six questions I wrote down and posed for myself to consider are located right where I can see them by my computer.  I keep them there to use for motivation, inspiration and ongoing skill development.

As I mentioned earlier, I feel these questions may help whether you are:

My Question For You Today…

“How Can I Practice Active Listening

And Being ‘In The Moment’ Today?”

Before we begin today’s brief informational and what I hope to be inspirational thoughts for you, I would like you to pause in the reading of this quote:
On True Listening
Caring enough to listen,
and listening enough to care
.
© Lee Wise
You may say “that’s simply a play on words.”  Could, be; but not for me.  What I am speaking about here is a two-fold decision: the decision to listen and the the corresponding heart-felt decision to listen from the heart.  In other words…
“To be in the moment as much as is possible for the moment.”
With that quote and the comment above taking backstage in your mental space, think about:
  • The variety of situations you could be practicing the art of listening well for the purpose of caring well in the process: over the phone, meeting someone in store, interacting with a server in a restaurant, while getting a haircut, a quick conversation with a student in a hallway, answering a simple question for someone in your downline, truly listening to someone else’s question on a webinar, or simply pausing enough to hear when in your mind the “pause” may not be really needed — much less something you are looking forward to at the moment.  Point being: this “art” can be practiced repeatedly over time.
  • And closely related to the examples given above, the whole idea of using the “short chunks of time” concept to actually design when you might take part in your own caring and self growth activity.
  • And should you happen to come from a faith based background such as myself, I would suggest that you make prayer a part of this process. In fact, click here for an article on prayer that could be helpful to you in that regard.

Your Turn!

  • Remember, as the creative one for your world, this is where could take the time and do a bit of brainstorming: even for three minutes.  Seriously, just take three minutes and jot down several responses as to where, when and how you might be able to apply concepts in this post to your own world.  Ready… go!
  • If you would like additional ideas, try this: as you are going through the average day simply have the question posted above in the back of your mind and take in the variety of ways your active listening and being in the moment skills could be used: even without doing them at the moment.  (And by the way, I have chapter in my book devoted to the gathering of ideas.  Yes, that’s a hint, lol!)
  • Should you be in some aspect of online business or business development, you may want to ask yourself how you could use these concepts to train others.

A Brief Quote To Consider

On Active Listening

Being present in heart

just enough to heart the ‘heart speak’

of those you are caring for at the moment.

Questions For Excellence – Our Observing People Skills

Attraction Marketing Life Coach Asking Questions

Questions For Excellence…

Our Observing People Skills

Excellence For Business.

Excellence For Life.

Continuing this brief series, these were my observations from an excellent article on The Coaching Mindset by Kendall Silva. I have these posted directly by my computer to use for motivation, inspiration and ongoing skill development.

Once again, I feel these questions may help whether you are:

My Question For You Today…

“How Can I Increase My ‘Observe People’ Skills Today?”

Think about it:

  • You could be going to the doctor’s office (as I will be in a few short hours) and during that time you could just simple say to yourself “I’m going take a few minutes ‘just to observe.’  I will be a learner.”
  • What could you learn about people — in short “chunks” of time — that would increase your skills in the area of learning from, listening to, enjoying, or helping out people?  As yesterday’s post was on taking advantage of the power of story, maybe the two could be combined in some way: i.e. not only listening to someone’s story that you prompted by also increasing in your “people observation skills” in the process.
  • You could learn by segmenting.  I used to share with the men in my class to do this: you create a “filter” for the day and watch people according to the filter you create.  For instance, one example I gave them was: “Watch dads today in church.  Just pay attention to what they do, don’t do, need to do, etc. Whatever: you create what you desire to focus on.”

Your Turn!

  • Reflect on the examples I gave above… and expand on those thoughts.  Take them into your world of parenting, network marketing, personal relationships, training, preaching, teaching… whatever.  You are creative!
  • In what you already know about people, suppose you were to create an article, post or a teaching session of some sort on “The Top Two Affirming Characteristics I’ve Seen In People”: what would you list?  What might you write on?  How could you inspire, encourage or be a positive influence in the world through what you have observed and what you would write?
  • Could your observations be the beginning of a “how to” article, blog post, slide presentation or a short video?

A Brief Quote To Consider

On Learning From Others

We learn that we may become better people:

for it is in the art of becoming

that we contribute to our world,

ourselves, and all we seek to influence.

May we become all we can for the purpose of

helping others do the same.

Questions For Excellence – On The Power Of Story

Attraction Marketing Self Growth Online Training

Questions For Excellence…

On The Power Of Story

Excellence For Business.

Excellence For Life.

Recently I jotted down several questions to keep me motivated, learning and growing as a life coach.  These were my observations from an excellent article on The Coaching Mindset by Kendall Silva.

I feel these questions may help whether you are:

My Question For You Today…

“How can I capitalize on the Power Of Story today?”

Think about it:

  • Could I ask others to share their story in a creative fashion? Or, simply ask to hear their stories?
  • What types of questions could I design to bring the positive, life affirming stories of others to the forefront?
  • Could I ask someone to share their story in my teaching, influencing, training, online marketing, or part of my questioning in the context of a coaching time?

Your Turn!

  • Think of a story that has impacted your life.  Short, long, or in between: it doesn’t make a difference.
  • Could it be shared with someone you for encouragement, growth, training, teaching or inspiring?
  • Could it be the beginning of a “how to” article, blog post, slide presentation or a short video?

A Brief Quote To Consider

On The Power Of Stories

Stories can become

someone’s inspiration for today, hope for tomorrow

or learning for the moment.

May we use their such power often,

use it well, and use it for every noble purpose we can imagine.

One Month Of Comment Luv – One Month Of Blessings

Attraction Marketing Blogging Comments

One Month Of Comment Luv –

One Month Of Blessings

And A Big “Thank You!” To All!

This has been an interesting month: a blogging challenge month. And while I may relate more of the benefits in another post, I felt the more “personal side” of the challenge by going back and reading a number of the comments posted on my blog over the last 30 days.

My plan here is simple, although not without a small amount of apprehension on my part. Why? Because in this post I plan to:

  • Share a number of the comments posted on my blog.
  • And make my own comments about the comments at the end.

“Well, Lee, that’s simple.  So why the anxiety?”

Answer: because I can’t quote everyone!  You see, I truly mean it when I say that I appreciate the folks that have taking the time to drop by, read, and make thoughtful comments about what I have posted.  For me, reading over the comments has been:

  • Encouraging.
  • Insightful.
  • And meaningful.
And with that said, I have to relate to all who have made comments that they were truly appreciated but I felt that all could not be included.
I was forced to select some and leave out others.
That’s my anxiety.  That’s my choice.  And I hope no hard feelings remain because of my choices.

Comment Luv And Comments About The Luv

I think what I will do is simply to share several posts with you and then make my comments afterword. Now, if you are a blogger and working through the whole idea of blogging for prospects and blogging as a part of “reflecting the real you” (branding yourself), then what I would do as you read down through this list would be to:

  • Get out a notebook, pad of paper or create a document.
  • Get into a “learn and grab” the ideas mode.  And, I would suggest to aspects of this: (1) record the obvious ideas; and (2) record the ideas that touch your heart.
  • Visit some of the days during the month of August — not so much to read my articles but to catch the quality comments that I have been fortunate enough to find left on this blog… and continue the process of idea gathering and listening to your heart.

Okay, Here We Go!

  • Note: the links are those given by the posters at the time of their comments
  • Any italics added are mine.  Just highlighting various things that stand out.  I may take one or two examples in another post of mine and “tear them apart” in terms of sharing with you what lessons I learned through reading them.

From Faith Barnard

“Hello Lee,

This is a very extensive list of questions to pose to ourselves to truly reflect on our lives and the direction we choose for our lives.

What came through was balance and priorities. Through evaluating every aspect of our lives we can see our journey from a wider perspective.

Stepping back if you will and taking in our choices and our priorities. Giving us an important perspective to examine if there are areas that can be expanded and adjusted to mirror our hearts desires.

Thank you for this thought provoking post. What an amazing journey we are on. I look forward to your future posts as well.

Faith”

From Natasha Nassar

“Wow! Great post Lee! I love the part where you said:

“Can you influence someone by simply “letting it go” and building the relationship that way?”

That was the exact advice that I needed to hear- funny how it works that way, isn’t it?

Looking forward to reading more from you!

Natasha”

From Alicia

“I found this so helpful. Wish I had read it when I had my last business because as it grew to a full time job I found I was spending less and less time with my family. I let the love of my business define my self worth instead of my family. It was a learning experience and one I don’t want to happen again. I know better now.”

From Karen Wilson Wehrle

“My husband has a legally-blind aunt who’s almost 90. She’s such a sweetheart her family cast her out and she lived in a nearby state for most of her life. She outlived all her enemies and returned to her hometown five years ago.

What happened? She brought the remaining family together! She sees the good in everything and everyone. That’s such a powerful attraction that no one can resist her. We meet other family members as we visit with her, and we’re getting to know each other. What a gift she is to us all!

I just had to share that. And of course, I’m emulating her!”

From Mari-Lyn

“Thank you for the simple suggestions and reminder for us serial entrepreneurs, like me. I tweeted it out for you. It’s so important that I keep intouch with my personal as well as my business relationships.”

From Kelly Baadner

“Lee,
The only thing I want to say here is “PREACH IT!!!”. :)
I hope you “feel” my passinoate shout-out here! :)
I am sharing this post via FB & Twitter!
Kelly”

From John Zehr

“Great blog. Your commitment to service is evident. My first-born just left for college. I wish I’d read more books and blogs like yours before he left.”

From Sye Wells

“Lee, I love this post (as always, it’s my joy to read your content and share it) . I love how you carved time out to write in your gratitude journal. What if everyone had one? This is an powerful intentional choice and action, to decide to not just think about what we are grateful for, but to write it down and actually share it.

I have made it a part of my daily action plan, to write down and share with someone.. what I am grateful .. “right now”. Hey I think you are on to something… product.. “the Gratitude Journal”. xo :) Life is great! Sye-

From Tracy Rissik

“Thanks for this thought-provoking article, Lee.

Hmmm…
Question Number One: What one small thing — anything – is (or could be if repeated over time) is holding me back from being my best today?
==> not taking proper breaks, so I get more tired more quickly

Question Number Two: What “something” — one small something — is hindering me in just one area of my life today?
==> not filing things!!!
(that one really resonated!)

Thanks!
Tracey”

Several Of My Lessons/My Responses

Good night!  Can you see why I loved reading back through the responses over the past month?

Responding/Learning/Growing I Would Say…

  • Check out the Heart Responses.  Wow.  What makes a great comment on a blog? Answer: one from the heart.
  • Complimentary.  In their own unique manner they were complimentary.  Sincere, appreciative comments.  What makes a great comment on a blog? Paying sincere compliments.  Not trumped up.  Sincere.
  • Genuine Interaction.  People thinking, responding, taking action, etc.  What makes a great comment on a blog?  Thoughtful interaction.
  • Saying Who You Are in your business and in life.  What makes a great comment on a blog?  Sharing in such a way so that people want to visit your link, see what you are doing, or enter into dialogue with you.
  • Sharing A Story from your life or from the life of someone you know, love, appreciate, etc.  What makes a great comment on a blog?  Answer: story telling!
  • Sharing Good Ideas And Content.  What makes a great comment on a blog?  Think about it. Someone could read through just the comment I shared — let along the others that are there — and receive good tips, ideas, examples and advice on how to live better!  So the answer is: short, well said comments that impart information, reveal skill sets or encourage others.

Time To Visit Your Heart

I have shared with you several ideas above relative to my reflections/lessons learned from reading over my commenters’ thoughts.  Now what about you?  I sincerely hope you took my advice and the ideas are flowing.

  • What did you quickly catch?  I mean, what immediately caught your attention as you read through the sample comments?
  • What inspired you?
  • What encouraged you?
  • If I were to ask you: “Now, quick, give me your top 3 to 5 ideas gained or lessons learned about making significant comments on a blog” how would you respond?”

My Sincere Thanks!

Once again, I am very grateful for all the folks who stop have stopped by, shared and left a small part of themselves here on my site.

I’ve tried to learn myself about how to become a better blogger and how to become better at making quality comments on the blogs of other people by reading through all of the comments that have been left.

My Thanks also goes out to the following commenters in the month of August (in no particular order): Christina Leo, Heather Bestel, Jim Campbell, Evelyn Roberts Brooks, Larry Pollock,  Martha Giffen, Stephanie Tanner, Marueen Wielansky, Kareem Williams, TeamCurtis Family, Judy H. Wright, David, Sheila Atwood, and Ligia.

A Brief Quote For Your Consideration

On Beauty Of Gratefulness

In the reality of being grateful

lies the beauty of not only seeing as we should

but in becoming the persons we should in the process.

The Wonder And Beauty Of Small Successes

Success - Personal Growth -

The Wonder And Beauty Of Small Successes

(Winning In Life And Business One Step At A Time)

I do enjoy listening to, reading, or hearing about in one way or another the “small” successes people experience in their lives.  Maybe that is one reason I’ve always enjoyed the experience of coaching others: you get to see them see them “win.”

Maybe not the “big” wins: just the wins.

  • A child’s fifteenth try — and “win” —  at conquering that two wheeler.
  • A student teacher’s relating about a “win” in the classroom.
  • The simple joy of someone sharing “I did it!” — no matter how small the “I did it” may have been in their life.
  • A young pastor in the making sharing a successful first ministry effort while training at a church (yep, that’s my background showing, lol!)

The Importance Of The “Small Wins” In Life And Business

Nothing new, for sure.  And I know you affirm the reality of this truth:

The small small successes in life make a difference.

In my way of thinking we need to:

  • Acknowledge them.
  • Celebrate them.
  • And help others do the same.

And we need to do so in:

  • Our own lives.
  • The lives of our those we may be married to.
  • Those we term dear friends.
  • The lives of our children.
  • The people we may be associated with in our work at home opportunity, our mastermind team or those we work with on a day to day basis.
  • Etc.

Right about now I can almost — almost — hear your on saying on the inside…

“Oh, Good Grief, Lee: All Of Us Know That!”

Absolutely true.  Absolutely true.

However…

But I am big fan, cheerleader, proponent of, and/or believe in the power of a timely reminder. And this is just that: a reminder.  Therefore, just in case this may be for you one of those “right time reminders,” allow me to toss out a few questions in your direction:

  • Should you happen to be facing any level of discouragement, do you need to take note of the small victories in your life at this time?  Maybe record them in your journal, post several of them around for you to see during the day, or simply see them as something to be grateful for?
  • If I were to ask you, what small steps to success in your business or life journey have you taken that could be of a benefit for others to know, could you list them?  Should you list them?
  • What small “victory step” could you begin tomorrow?  Maybe begin the first post in a blog with a goal attached to it: like making one post a day for the next month?  Or, making it “an encouragement day” for someone by encouraging them in one small, yet meaningful, manner?  Or a “learn something new in only five or ten minutes” time tomorrow that could help?
  • Is there one small step you have not taken that you know you need to take at this time and you have not done so?

Time To Visit Your Heart

You might expect that as a life coach with a pastoral training background,  I might deliver your way inquiries such as these about now:

  • In reviewing what we have talked about, do you hear your heart ’saying’ anything to at this time concerning what we have interacted about?
  • Thinking about what we have reviewed, would you say that you are giving yourself enough credit at this stage in our life relative to your small successes, or is there some other obstacle (small or large) hindering your success right now that should be considered?
  • Since you are a parent, let me ask you: are you celebrating in the small successes in the lives of your children — no matter what their age may be?
  • Okay, I know you see the importance of small success steps and liked what you read, so what step would you be willing to design and take by this time next week?

Here’s To Your Small Steps Of Victory Next Week

I wish you the best in any of your small but significant to you steps you may be planning on taking this next week.

Should you feel like sharing them in a public way, leave a reply!

A Brief Quote To Consider

On Small Success

The high roads of life are often identified

by the footprints of the small success steps

we have taken during our journeys to take us there.

My suggestions for capturing the best you can from this brief summary of this week’s posts.

  • Take a quick — but not too quick — read of the post titles.

  • Develop a beginning list for your own business and self development growth plans of action for the next week or month.
  • Create Idea File for those “Not yet but I sure would like to get back to that idea and not forget it” types of thoughts.
  • Read with “Influence Eyes” in terms of sharing good material with others.
  • Think about “One good thought for one good purpose” as you review the titles, record your thought and act. And, by the way, do any good title of your own come to mind that you could use in any way?

Affiliate Notations: I am affiliate of many, if not most, of the links and products that I suggest, recommend, or refer to on this site. For example, when I refer to the resources Renegade University and Renegade Professional, I am an affiliate of the organization that supplies those resources for the benefit of so many people. Also, if you see a banner on my site you can almost count on me be an affiliate of that service or product. By way of an example, the banner for the QuanSite that I use and very highly recommend: I am a very happy affiliate. It’s really the best of both worlds: I enjoy being free enough to not only recommend a product or service that others may benefit from but also to have the potential of earning funds from the same resource. Cool.
